They are called "Palace" incense because they have been used in the palace. They contain flowers, barks, woods, stems, leaves, resings, spices, and roots of medicinal herbs from Himalayas. For example, Red and White Sandalwood, Sausarea Lappa, Nardostachys Jatamansi, Safflower - Carthamus Tinctorius, Saffron, Gooseberry, Myrobalan, Innula Racemosa, Nutmeg, Clove, Cinnamomum Tamala, Cardamom, and Juniper.
